Description
Volunteers work at the Street Outreach Program for homeless, housing insecure, and runaway youth ages 12-22. The program has a drop-in center where youth can come in any time during open hours to access basic needs such as food, laundry, showers, and survival items. Volunteer duties include helping clients with homework, listening to their stories and providing peer support, assisting clients with finding jobs and making referrals, and assisting employees with day-to-day operations of the drop-in center. Site interviews required with coordinator and site. On site orientation required.
